Progressive Utah

Discussions and Events for Utah's Liberal Community

Posting Access:
All Members , Moderated

Welcome! This is a community for progressive Utahns, or anyone interested the left side of Utah. I hope to use this as a networking tool for progressives and a learning tool for us all. Also feel free to post announcements about progressive and cultural events.

If you'd like to post an event and don't want to become a Live Journal user to do it, please email me at green_jenni at livejournal dot com with the words "Progressive Utah Posting" or similar in the subject line.

If you think you might want to have your very own free Live Journal account, you can get more info by going to http://www.livejournal.com/ and clicking on "feature overview".

Important: Let's keep this community respectful. Not all progressives will agree all the time. I don't think we want to censor legitimate debate; blatently disrespectful posts will be deleted, however. If a member is continuing to be disrespectful, you may expect that your posting privleges will be taken away or you may even be banned.

Have a positive global imapact this Christmas

Other Live Journal communities progressive Utahns might find interesting are Utah's Independent Media Center Activist Community at http://www.livejournal.com/community/utah_imc/ and greenparty_utah at http://www.livejournal.com/community/greenparty_utah/. Let me know if there are other LJ communities that specifically address Utah progressive issues and I will post them here.
